Here is a storage solution for saw blades especially if you live in a humid climate from @willowandtwigg
“How do you store yours?! 🤩⚒️ This week I had to come up with an alternative storage solution for my jewellery saw blades.
I had been keeping them in this rather nifty wooden holder (stored safely up on the pegboard to avoid it accidentally getting knocked over).
However this week I was practicing my sawing skills and when I went to use some of the less-common sizes I noticed many of them had become rusty and corroded.
I can’t take credit for the idea of using these test tubes - that award goes to the brilliant Kerry from @thornandclaw 🫶
BUT it’s such a great solution I felt it was worth a share in case it helps any of you too!
I’ll keep the wooden holder for the few blades that are currently in use, as that’s always handy to stop them getting mixed up, but the rest will be kept in the tubes from now on.
The tubes themselves are not glass but strong acrylic plastic, and are simply sealed with a cork stopper.
They’re also really inexpensive and I got a pack of 15 for less than £6 online.” Thanks for allowing me to share! This is a great tip and I live for organizational tips!! #organizingtips #jewelrystudio #sawblade #jewelerstools
