The thing is all humans should use these safety tips! One thing I want to note, flashback arrestors are not common with acetylene B tanks. The manufacturer says they are not necessary. It’s why they don’t sell just the one arrestor- they always come in pairs, fuel and Oxy.
The flash back arrestors prevent the reverse flow of gas caused when one gas pushes the other back through the torch handle into the hose. Since the Act/Air only has the one gas...that doesn’t happen when the torch is used correctly.
