Let’s talk for a second about magnetic clasps from @stullerinc, I believe there is value in having the ability to provide this option to customer’s who struggle with getting a necklace or bracelet on or off due to mobility, arthritis or any other reason. @stullerinc provided me with Freedom Clasps™ and I tested them out for a few weeks. At no point did the necklace or bracelet ever fall off, while I was wearing them. I also yanked and yanked on them and they stayed put. You separate the powerful magnets by twisting the ends in opposite directions & then the clasp opens. It made putting on the bracelet by myself very easy, some folks don’t have someone to assist them putting on a bracelet so nice to be able to do it yourself. The clasps are as bit on the larger side so I do think they pair well with a chain that has some heft to it. You can solder them on but it’s suggested to use a heat protectant on the magnets, you can also use a pulse arc welder to quickly attach them. Some clasps are available in 10k or 14k in addition to sterling silver. I appreciate Stuller sending me these for me to review and while you may not have a need at this moment for a magnetic clasp I’m glad I could make our community aware of them because this could be a huge help to a customer!
