I  love  a  thick  bezel,  here  are  some  tips  to  create  corners  for  your  gorgeous  square  or  rectangular  stones.  Sponsored  by  @turquoise_moose  where  I  get  my  rectangular,  square  and  bar  shaped  turquoise.
-  Once  you  have  scribed  a  line  where  your  corner  will  be  you  gently  saw  the  line  first  to  create  a  groove  and  then  use  a  rectangular  needle  or  hand  file  to  create  a  wide  “v”.  This  removes  metal  so  the  corners  can  bend  into  a  perfect  90  degrees.  You  can  also  use  a  seperating  disc  carefully  to  grind  out  that  groove.
-  If  your  corner  is  almost  there  but  you  still  need  to  remove  a  little  more  metal  CAREFULLY  saw  into  the  corner.  You  don’t  want  to  saw  all  the  way  through  just  enough  so  you  can  complete  the  bend.
-  A  measuring  square  is  a  fantastic  tool  to  have  to  compare  your  metal  to  and  make  sure  you  are  at  90  degrees.  
-  Once  you  have  figured  out  your  position  scribe  lines  or  use  a  sharpie  so  when  you  set  up  the  bezel  for  soldering  you  know  where  to  position  everything.
-  Always  flow  a  little  solder  into  the  corners  you  bent,  this  will  strengthen  them.
