@nelsonkingery - “Thought I’d share a tip I used today being overseas temporarily and I don’t have a vice or engraving ball (anything sturdy) to easily set stones. Used a mason jar cap as my base plate to heat and hold the thermoloc in. I screwed it down to the bench, let it cooled, and set the stone. Cheap, easy, and mobile. Here are some photos from todays job.” Thank you Nelson for this great idea! For those that maybe don’t have the money to invest in a vise you could use this technique as long as you secure it down!
