Here is a soldering tip from @hghjewelryinstitute - “Sometimes, for soldering parts of our work (such as connecting a jump ring to a pendant ), we need two parts of the work to be placed on two different levels (one higher than the other).
For this, we can use two pieces of broken soldering boards. adjust the boards according to the desired height on the Soldering Pan and do the soldering easily.
For this purpose, you can use a copper, brass or stainless steel sheet or wire under the jump ring too, but because these metals absorb the heat, soldering becomes difficult.” Thanks for sharing this with us! I am always looking to share soldering set ups and tips!
