A bunch of tips in this tutorial from @wire_and_wood_jewellery đ - âFew tips here for chain making that have made my life easier. I donât have a jump ring maker so use my doming punches to make larger jump rings for chains - lots of size options and keeps the ring size constant!
Masking tape for sawing jump rings - keep a doubled over flap to the side to hold onto and saw from the inside out. Creates perfect joins for soldering - all bar the last ring (thereâs always one!)
I also use masking tape to hold small pieces in place on the stainless steel block. Wrap it round sticky side up - keeps the pieces in place while gently texturing and saves whacking fingers! â Thank you Jo for allowing me to share this and showing your process!
