@sunstoneweld pulse arc welder is very useful when I want to tack a component (like a bail) in place! It ensures my jump ring here is exactly where it needs to be so I can accomplish a quick solder. This helps prevent me over heating my piece and accidentally reflowing my previous solder seams. I’ve also found because I can be efficient about the soldering and I am using firecoat and flux together I have reduced firestain. As a jeweler I would never view the pulse arc welder as a replacement for soldering, it’s more like the perfect partner. Saves me time and frustration and allows me to layout things that would be a true challenge even with the best soldering props.
