Here is a flush setting tip - apply a little lubricant before you burnish around your stone! I’m using pepetools_usa Blade Butter and I love that it’s easy to apply a little with my finger (it’s nontoxic) and it doesn’t gunk it up. I also used it to lubricate my bur when I cut the seat by just dipping the bit (a litttle goes a long way). My burnisher is actually a scribe I modified to have a rounded, polished end.
