@thediamondsetter “The only thing you need is an old bur that is transformed into a burnishing tool. Just cut off the head and use a diamond polishing wheel and form a cone with an angle of 90 degrees. Use a ball bur to create the seat of the diamond. Rule number one - Stone size = Bur size. If you have a 1.3mm Brilliant start with a 0,9mm drill, and open up the hole, step by step to 1.3mm. Now you just have to remove the edge with a big ball bur. Set the stone in place and with slight pressure go around the stone. Turn the piece and not the burnishing tool to create the perfect brightcut.” Thank you for sharing this with us!
