When I saw @erincuffjewelry sharing organizational tips from her studio I asked if she would share this awesome tip.
“I first had the epiphany of how great using trays is from working for @juliaturnerstudio, who used lunch trays to organize any jobs in production. I wanted to find something that had a smaller footprint on my benches and tables so I found these trays and racks sold by a dental supplier. The trays have rubber feet on the bottom so they don’t slide around, and the trays come in lots of different colors. I use one rack as a “drying rack” and storage for my tumbler media next to my sink, and to set pieces on to dry after they come out of my magnetic tumbler or ultrasonic. I also keep one on every bench to create some vertical storage for anything I’m working on. I tend to have lots of projects going at once and my adhd brain isn’t great about following through on projects that get lost on my bench. This makes it so I can organize each thing I’m working on by tray, and can come back to it when I have time to pick back up. The trays travel around my studio to different work stations, I got hot pink so that my eye can spot a tray if I’m looking for something that I’ve misplaced which I do quite often. If you haven’t guessed it, trays are life around here 😂”
Erin thank you so much, she shared that you can find these at net32.com, I was also able to find mine for a comparable price on Amazon.
If you comment “I WANT THE LIST” I will send you a link to the Storage List I have on Amazon that has tons of tips and tools shared over the years by our community!
I immediately bought this system, while it is a bit of an investment this rack will last forever and I can wait to show a before and after of my bench!

#benchorganization #tumblermediaorganization #jewelrystudio #jewelerworkshop
