#tooltalktuesday I have been wanting to show off a Butane Torch since I started this page. While I didn’t learn with one they are affordable, portable and I know many many people in our community use them. I am not super experienced with butane torches but David
@silversmithingretreat who designed this torch is. Over the past ten years he has sold various butane torches but last year he set out to design a reliable torch that had a good high and low setting and the ability to clean the torch when it was fouled from dirty butane. This Jumbo Torch is the result. It’s easy to fill (butane canisters are sold separate you can find them in my Amazon shop or possibly at a local hardware store). I experimented with soldering ring bands, bangles and some smaller bezels to backplates so I can vouch it works for that! If you turn it to the lower setting it should also work for the bezels themselves and other smaller components.
