#tooltalktuesday I am excited to show off the Fretz Spinner Ring Maker available from
@pepetools_usa this two part jig allows you to evenly flare out a ring on both sides to easily create spinner rings. It is a super fun tool, and easy to use if you’re a beginner. For my sample I took 18g sheet and measured out my shank. Before I formed it I stamped the inside, then I soldered and formed it. For my spinning element I took patterned wire and made a larger ring. There is no exact formula but you don’t want to make sure it is large enough as the flaring may cause it to be unable to spin (ask me how I know). It is recommended to make it two sizes bigger. If you want to test it you can even flare one side of your main ring, then test out the spinner before flaring the other side. The flaring part is super easy the tool does it for you.
