Here  is  a  tip  for  heat  protecting  while  soldering  delicate  jump  rings  from  @shayne.suttie.silver-<br><br>“I’m  sharing  this  because  it’s  probably  the  cheapest  and  easiest  ‘hack’  I’ve  ever  found!  And  works  a  treat  too!
“When  soldering  finicky  jump  rings  to  a  delicate  piece  or  adding  premade  clasps  to  a  chain  you  don’t  actually  need  any  fancy  heat  sinks  or  special  pastes  that  cost  an  arm  and  a  leg.
Wet  toilet  paper  works…or  in  this  case  some  wet  paper  towel.  That’s  it’s…just  some  wood  pulp  and  water.  Try  it…you  will  thank  me  and  your  bank  account  will  appreciate  it🤣

My  disclaimer  for  any  tip  like  this  is  if  you  are  protecting  a  stone  or  other  delicate  components  always  use  these  tips  and  your  torch  with  caution.
