Here is a tip for work hardening ear posts from @fire_and_fringe - “When you heat sterling silver to solder components together, it gets soft making things like ear posts prone to bending while you’re wearing them.

An easy way to harden and strengthen sterling silver ear posts is to roll them between two bench blocks.”
