Over the years, I’ve tested a bunch of different bits and methods, and I always find myself returning to using a small piece of 3M polishing cloth to remove patina. They come in different grits so you can of course achieve a high polish or if you want more of a satin finish you can use the gray one like I did. You can find these cloths from most of the jewelry tool companies, I also have them listed under “Tools for sanding + polishing jewelry” on my Amazon storefront. Have you used them before?
