Here is a split shank tip from @misjapaulina - “I used a butter knife to open the split. 😄 The key to making a split ring shank is sawing the split as precisely as possible after marking it with the caliper. If you missed the line, don’t worry. After opening the split, you can still correct it a bit with a one-sided triangle file.” Thank you for allowing me to share this fun video showing your process!
